This is so very Raven. First of all, Raven-Symoné is leaving The View on ABC before the end of the year. What is more, she is doing so to revive her That’s So Raven TV show for Disney Channel. The sitcom premiered on Disney in January 2003 and ran for four seasons, before being cancelled in November of 2007. The star broke the news this morning on The View.
In That’s So Raven, Symoné starred as Raven Baxter. The teen psychic frequently misinterpreted her visions and would get into wacky scrapes, trying to prevent them from coming true. Orlando Bloom, Kyle Massey, Anneliese van der Pol, Rondell Sheridan and T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh also starred.
That’s So Raven Sequel Series
In the new series Symoné’s character, Raven, is now a single mom, and one of her two children seems to be developing psychic abilities. The That’s So Raven sequel series does not have an official title yet, so she has chosen to refer to it as That’s So Raven II. In addition to starring, Symoné is also executive producing. Auditions will begin soon.
