Nearly 45 years ago, Sherwood Schwartz (creator of Gilligan’s Island) read an article in the Los Angeles Times about the rise in the number of blended families. This led him to create The Brady Bunch, a little sitcom that has gone on to become one of the most beloved and successful shows in television history.
Schwartz and his son Lloyd (who was a producer on the series) have now written a book about their experiences on The Brady Bunch and the various spin-offs that followed. It’s called Brady, Brady, Brady: The Complete Story of The Brady Bunch as Told by the Father/Son Team Who Really Know.
Lloyd Schwartz and castmembers Christopher Knight, Mike Lookinland, and Susan Olsen recently visited Good Morning America to promote the book. They talked about making the show, backstage hijinks, and even answered viewer questions.
