Airing on the FOX television network, The Cool Kids stars David Alan Grier, Martin Mull, Vicki Lawrence, and Leslie Jordan. The TV show revolves around a loyal but motley crew who live at a retirement community and will break any rule to have fun. Though they may be older, this quartet is far from done with life. The self-proclaimed “cool kids” are determined to make the third act of their lives the craziest and most interesting one yet.
The first season of The Cool Kids on FOX is averaging a 0.85 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.27 million viewers.
Compared to the other FOX TV shows of the 2018-19 season, the sitcom is a middle-of-the-road performer. The series started out really strong but the ratings lost steam as the season progressed.

Why would you cancel “The Cool Kids”? It’s one of THE BEST SHOWS ON TV! Please reconsider and bring it back. It’s already on my watch list schedule. It’s funny, cute and a real sitcom. Please Please Please bring it back.
@Fox, please renew @TheCoolKids. It is a very funny show and people are watching the old episodes on @Hulu and Video on Demand. I just watched 8 episodes today.

The Cool Kids was one of mine and my husband’s favorite comedy shows. We will really miss it. Please consider bringing this show back for season 2.

No sense canceling a great and funny show
This is really a shock canceling cool kids it was a great and funny show. There is something that makes NO SENSE they said is the best comedy n 6 years
You say the 18-49 yr.old’s did not like it. Well, Did you ask the Baby Booms. We are at the age to understand the show. We know the actors, and can fit in to the way they do. A lot of us are in retirerment homes and understand the way they are. PLEASE, YES PLEASE bring back the COOL KIDS. We need a show for us Baby Boomers. Thank-You
Cool Kids was the best sitcom to hit television in a very long time so to read about the cancellation frustrates me as a viewer. It had crisp stories, excellent acting (afterall look at some of the seasoned actors on this show) and chemistry between the actors that made it believable and enjoyable. I looked forward to the show every week. The worst thing that could have happened the cancellation of a show that was well produced , directed, written. This makes me sad. Our family (23-52 years old) enjoyed watching Coll Kids together on Friday nights. Truly disappointed that FOX cancelled season 2
