A new season of The Doctors is coming soon but it will have a very different look. The thirteenth season of the syndicated series will premiere in September with a new studio, new format, and a new host.
Dr. Ian Smith is taking charge of the series and previous hosts Sonia Batra, Judy Ho, Nita Landry, Andrew Ordon, and Travis Stork will not be returning. This season will have the focus of helping people deal with the times we’re living in at the moment.
More about season 13 of the daytime series was revealed in a press release.

What do you think? Are you a fan of The Doctors? Will you watch the new season of this syndicated series next month? Will you miss the previous hosts?
I was a fan of the prior hosts and format!! Very informative and fun to watch. Too bad format is changing!
Did not really care for this new format. Nothing against the new doctor, but the old show was much more interesting and entertaining. Probably will not watch this show much.
I have been a fan of The Doctor’s since the beginning. I even turned my hubby onto it! We enjoyed it daily. Today, we tuned in for the first of the new season and although it was pleasant, we were saddened to know the original cast of doctors would lot be returning. For this, we are truly disappointed! The new host is very well spoken and obviously knowledgeable enough but it will take some time to get used to change. We will continue to give this show the benefit of the doubt until we feel we’re no longer interested. Best… Read more »
I will NOT be watching the new Drs TV show. Seems everything in the world HAS to change. Sometimes we need to leave things alone and do NOT change them.
Will not be watching.
Don’t like it I like the rapport of having more than one host
Do not like the new show at all! So very disappointed! I always look forwArd to dr. Travis and the crew. I miss the chemistry of the people. I will not be watching the “new show”. I am a retired RN and feel the show with Dr. Travis and others gave the “real picture” of medicine!
Very disappointed in this new season. My husband & I watched it every morning. We turned it off today and won’t be watching it any more. What a BIG MISTAKE for this show.
So … Upset ! I LOVED THAT SHOW .. No way will I be watching this . Ruin a good show , another 2020 Tradegy!
I liked the other “the doctor’s”. It was informative, friendly and fun! This new one is anything but; it is not worth watching. BRING BACK THE OLD ONE!!
Not a fan: will not be watching: If you are going to change format: Change the name, and the song, that needs to be changed also. it’s not the doctors anymore. I have been a fan for along time, but time for me to change also.. Wish you luck, wish you had changed times also as that has always been our sit down eat time.
Very disappointed. My husband & I watched it every morning. We turned it off today and will not be watching it any more. What BIG MISTAKE with this new season.
Always looked forward to the old show everyday. I felt like I learned things and always got a good laugh or two while watching. Very very disappointing. Lost one of the highlights of my day.
I cannot get on board with the new format of a single host doctor when the show is named “The Doctors”. If Drs Drew and Stork get a show on a different network, I’ll tune in to watch it.
I am very very disappointed that the show “the doctors” has been cancelled. 🙁 I learned a lot from this show. If Drs Stork & Drew return on a different channel, I’ll be happy to continue watching them. 🙂
I have watched The Doctors from the beginning, and there was nothing wrong with the old format. I looked forward to it. Sorry, you just lost another viewer.
I do not like the new format at all! Bring back the old version, it was perfect. This new version is boring. The old version was so much more entertaining and informative at the same time. This new version is a sleeper!
Lost this viewer, too
