A new season of The Doctors is coming soon but it will have a very different look. The thirteenth season of the syndicated series will premiere in September with a new studio, new format, and a new host.
Dr. Ian Smith is taking charge of the series and previous hosts Sonia Batra, Judy Ho, Nita Landry, Andrew Ordon, and Travis Stork will not be returning. This season will have the focus of helping people deal with the times we’re living in at the moment.
More about season 13 of the daytime series was revealed in a press release.

What do you think? Are you a fan of The Doctors? Will you watch the new season of this syndicated series next month? Will you miss the previous hosts?
Nope, not at all interesting. Host looks phony. Not believable. Moving to new channel. Not everything Phil does is good. His show getting old too, bye.
I loved watching the Doctors. I must have missed the show when it was announced that the show was gonna be changing. It was always so entertaining and funny and now it’s way too serious. The new guy seems nice and very educated, but it’s not the show I enjoyed so much. Bummed and wish they’d at least have the same panel. Dr. Travis was truly the entertainment.
it seems like the TV show needs a new host. It’s very difficult to watch the facial expressions of the host. Bring back the doctors so we can continue watching.
I’m not happy with the new show at all. Tried to watch it but no, I couldn’t even connect with the new Dr hosting. He seems kinda cold.
The feel of this new show does not work. The personality of it has gone and that is what was so good—a panel of people talking. Why not just add the new host to the existing panel?? Personally I think you are trying to cover yourselves with the diversity issue.
The new format I believe many will just turn away from the others were more personable
BIG MISTAKE! I’ve watched, don’t like it even a little. I have it on right now, on mute, only to be sure I don”t miss the beginning of Dr. Phil
Sorry. Do not like this new format. Nothing wrong with the new host but the old cast had good chemistry and it was good to hear their points of view. This version comes across as quite sterile. I have cancelled my automatic recordings.
I used to love this show but do not enjoy the new host at all. His personality is flat and he’s boring.
I have always watch the medical informational shows, and I record this one( old form & new form). With the state of our country, I can understand the safety of everyone. Keep-up the good work. B.C.
I do not like the new show it all I enjoyed the original show much better and watched it every day since it first began but I personally will no longer be watching it I think it was a big mistake
I have watched The Doctors program since day one and looked forward to information the panel had to offer. Drew and Travis helped start my mornings. Why remove a program that had such high ratings. I will NOT be watching the new format. Not interesting at all. Big mistake Jay.
We watched the former Doctor’s Show every morning and enjoyed all the hosts, the format, and the information presented. We watched the new version of the show and don’t like it and will not be watching it anymore. Changing the show was a BIG mistake.
I have been a long time fan of The Doctors. I watched the changeover of many different people and learned a lot. I continued watching through this changeover. I can’t watch this any more. This guy is boring, uptight, and needs other hosts to offset him. He may be knowledgeable but he is projecting as a bumbling oaf! Even his jokes are flat. During his interviews, he leaves too long a pause between answers and questions. It is painful to watch.
I WILL NOT WATCH THE NEW SHOW. I THINK YOU HAVE TSKEN THE HIGHLIGHT OUT OF MY DAY AND I AM FOREVER DISSAPOINTED.
