A new season of The Doctors is coming soon but it will have a very different look. The thirteenth season of the syndicated series will premiere in September with a new studio, new format, and a new host.
Dr. Ian Smith is taking charge of the series and previous hosts Sonia Batra, Judy Ho, Nita Landry, Andrew Ordon, and Travis Stork will not be returning. This season will have the focus of helping people deal with the times we’re living in at the moment.
More about season 13 of the daytime series was revealed in a press release.

What do you think? Are you a fan of The Doctors? Will you watch the new season of this syndicated series next month? Will you miss the previous hosts?
No, I will not be watching. I will certainly miss the original cast.
So disappointed that they’ve changed the format! The Doctor’s was one of the few doctor shows that I actually enjoyed watching. The interaction between all of the co-hosts are what made the show. Why couldn’t they have used the same hosts but maybe expand the topics and concentrate on a few newer topics? They always presented such good, current advice. This was not a well thought out action on behalf of McGraw (really bad decision) and will no longer watch this show or any others produced by him – Dr. McGraw or Dr. Ox.
Absolutely not! Why bother calling it the “Doctors” if you have only one host? I loved the panel content with multiple views being presented. In addition, the former hosts brought about a light hearted but informative presentation. Shame on McGraw for changing the format from one that people actually loved watching! Will not be watching a fake counterfeit version of what we had!
I don’t expect to continue watching. The show is more than medical data and advice. The personalities are a key component to the draw and success of the show. I applaud McGraw for making a HUGE leap but I don’t think it’s a wise one. Coca-cola has a formula and they messed with it. This was a terrific failure and they learned. It’s unfortunate that some business execs feel the need to make their mark by implementing radical changes. Some work and some don’t. I hope the show continues because they employ a good number of staff and production crew… Read more »
No longer watching. Why in the world would you change such a great show
I agree with you & won’t be watching anymore either
Nope!!!!!!!!!
I hate the doctors is changing, and it’s not going to be the same. Drs. Travis and Ordon were who made the show. No offense, but I hate that the show is changing the audience demographic of the show. None of us know for sure whether or not we’ll like it, but I’m fairly sure I won’t. It used to offer such diversity in the doctors but now it will not have that. Too bad. Several television shows are really not worth watching anymore.
Well that’s terrible! I love the Doctors! Travis ,Dr H. They make the show! Probably won’t watch the spinoff.
I don’t think I will like the new Dr’s. My favorites are Dr.Travis and Dr Ordon. Dr Travis leaving isn’t going to be worth watching
No, I will not be watching the NEW Doctors. I’ve always enjoyed the content and information I have received as well as the hosts, all of them. Sorry, but you have lost a viewer.
No I will not be viewing the new version of The Doctors. Always enjoyed the content and how informative it was. Always enjoyed the frivolity they would sometimes share.
I will miss it. Hopefully I can find an alternative show to watch.
I’ve always been a fan of The Doctors, but I’ve noticed in the last year the show has gotten lax, off-track on health issues, and joking around a bit more, so I hope to see a more positive-professional change in dealing with health issues. The commercials promoting the new season look promising.
No, will not watch without Travis being on the show
I am so annoyed! What is going on with the stations changing programs that people have come to love. I have learned so much from the Dr’s including more information on a condition that I currently suffer with. NO,I WON’T WATCH THE NEW SHOW, want all the Dr’s back!!!
Seems that no one is happy with the change. I must say that I agree with the other comments. Although I love Dr Ian, I also love the current host. I think Dr Ian would make a great addition along side the rest of the cast. But not as a solo act. I love the camaraderies of having a team.
I looked forward to watching The Doctors each had interesting character. There is enough info today about Covid-19 and other life threatening warnings of one virus or disease etc. I want tv doctors back they are like family now. Regular experts they had on also are great. Bring them back or I am moving on. You wouldn’t want Dr. Phil or Oz to be cancelled either. Let us have out familiar in these uncertain times please!!
I’m disappointed, love the doctors you have now. Don’t know if you are doing the right thing
