HBO has cancelled its After the Thrones TV show, a Game of Thrones after show, hosted by Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan. The series hails from Bill Simmons’ content site, The Ringer. HBO previously cancelled Simmons’ weekly talk show, Any Given Wednesday, in November of 2016.
The Ringer will launch a new Game of Thrones after show, called Talk the Thrones, which THR reports will stream live on Twitter and Periscope. Greenwald and Ryan will continue to host. The new show premieres in July.

That really stinks this show got cancelled. Sad news.
I really enjoyed the After the Thrones show. The hosts were interesting and made me see things that I hadn’t noticed.
Sooooo disappointed! Loved this show !! I looked forward to it every week. I think they’re all geniuses and their humor was so entertaining. Hope to catch it in another format (not Twitter).
It was better than nothing… which is what we have now. I’m not watching some weak ass twitter feed. As good as GOT is, HBO has some seriously dumb ass people making decisions.
Glad they canceled that show, how in this earth a production like Game of Thrones got an after show so insipid and borring, I would rather be Ramsay guest than watch that again, take an example in Talking Dead this is a good show, funny, elocuent, interviews with the cast, some behind the camera. I’m not going to talk about those 2 that hosted the show because my comment would be erased for inappropriate language. LOVED After the Thrones. HATE the fact that HBO has cancelled it. GREAT “cast”, VERY disappointed in HBO…
I am really sad to hear that After the Thrones is cancelled. I was really looking forward it it. I don’t want to move to Twitter to get my post-Game of Thrones Fix.
Disappointing news. I loved watching the after show. It was fun and lighthearted. Won’t be the same on IMHO
