What’s in store for the new comedy series Trial & Error? Recently, the cast and creators teased their plans for the upcoming NBC TV show, Deadline reports.
From Jeff Astrof and Matt Miller, the crime mockumentary stars Nick D’Agosto as “a bright-eyed New York lawyer who heads to a tiny Southern town to defend an eccentric, “rollercizing” poetry professor (John Lithgow) accused of the bizarre murder of his beloved wife.”
During this month’s Television Critics Association press tour, the creators said the series is envisioned as an anthology, with future seasons paying homage to other crime docs like The Jinx or Making a Murderer.
From Astrof:
Thankfully a lot of people have killed other people.
Trial & Error premieres on NBC on March 7th.
What do you think? Do you enjoy true crime docuseries? Will you watch Trial & Error?
This show looks in very poor taste and will certainly not be funny to the many people whose family members or friends have been murdered. “Thankfully a lot of people have killed other people.” ???? Really!?
