Recently, Variety reported that NBC’s Friday night sitcom, Undateable, had been cancelled after three seasons on the air. Considering the comedy’s poor ratings, the news didn’t come as much of a surprise.
Taking to Twitter, Undateable creator and executive producer Adam Sztykiel wrote that the cancellation news was “100 percent incorrect and inaccurate reporting.”
Executive producer Bill Lawrence agreed that the report was “erroneous” and added that the show’s fate “Could go either way but [it] has not been cancelled.”
According to the network, Undateable has not been cancelled — nor has it been renewed. An NBC representative has confirmed with TV Series Finale that a decision on season four has not been reached as yet.
We’ll likely know the show’s fate in the next week or two when NBC holds their upfront presentation for advertisers.
What do you think? Do you like the Undateable TV show? Realistically, do you think that this comedy will be cancelled or renewed?
Please renew this show. One the few that i looked forward to. Last season was great. Give them a better time slot.
Renew !! I love this hilarious show!!
RENEW!!!! In a world where every show is the same this show is different. It brings the audience into the action and will be sorely missed if it is cancelled!
Renew!!!!
“a decision on season four has not been reached as yet.”
Of course they’ve reached a decision. They just won’t tell us yet. But that decision will be made public next Friday, May 13. And it will surely be canceled.
I love this show, its amazing and its one of a kind. A live tv sitcom is amazing!!!!!!! They can not cancel this show!! Renew it for another season please!!!!!
they’d be foolish not to renew it and pair it up with “The Carmichael Show” on a different night than FRIDAY.
They made the same stupid mistake with “Best Time Ever” on Tuesdays.
Right shows, wrong nights.
