The cruel quips will continue … if only for one more special. It’s been reported that the U.K. comedy Vicious will return for a special one-off episode in 2016.
The last season of Vicious ended this July.
The comedy, which airs on ITV in the U.K. and PBS in the U.S., stars Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi as Freddie and Stuart, a gay couple who both love and hate each other after nearly 50 years together.
The season two finale featured the long-awaited wedding of Freddie and Stuart and was thought to be the series finale. However, this upcoming special is now thought to be the final episode of the series.
No word yet on the exact premiere date for the special.
What do you think? Do you watch Vicious? Do you think it should continue or were you satisfied with the last episode?

When will the special be aired. Please, please bring this wonderfful comedy back. We gave enough tragedy in our lives.
