As a paid premium cable network, Starz is not a slave to the Nielsen ratings, the way broadcast and basic cable networks must be. Still, they have to retain and attract new subscribers, so the popularity of their TV shows still matters. Could The White Princess TV show — a sequel to The White Queen mini-series of 2013 — reign long on Starz? Could there be a second season, some sort of sequel series or, will there be just eight episodes? Stay tuned.
The White Princess stars Jodie Comer as Princess Elizabeth of York and Jacob Collins-Levy as King Henry VII. The Starz cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan. Beginning in 1485, the series tells the end of the saga of England’s War of the Roses and follows the rise of the House of Tudor, as well as the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York to Henry Tudor.

I just now read that Game of Thrones is being cancelled after this series starting in July! STARZ wanting to cancel The White Princess, Reign cancelled after next week… there won’t be any decent series left that’s not filled with cursing. I’m a curser, but I don’t like watching shows filled with curse words, that’s why I absolutely LOVE period pieces from way back yonder. Luv The White Princess, I couldnt ever get into the White Queen but for me The White Princess is just as great as The Tudors series on showtime and has the potential to be even greater.

The White Princess is a great piece of History with a superb cast! How much truth is being told leaves me anticipating more and more of the magnificent and tragic historical accounts of such an incredible time piece era! Yes I absolutely desire a sequel and then some!

I’ve been so enthralled with this show, I’ve been reading everything I can get my hands on about that time period. That’s led me to read about *other* time periods. I just loved the white gueen and couldn’t wait for the white princess. I have totally enjoyed the white princess and i hate to see it end. I hope that we have a second season. So please bring it back. I want to see more season.

I think The White Princess series could be the next Game of Thrones success story. It’s is dramatic and entertaining without straying too far from the actual history. There should DEFINITELY be more seasons
