FX has found some nice success with The Americans. Now, NBC is trying their own version of the Russian spy premise called Allegiance. Will it be a hit in the ratings? Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned to find out.
On the Allegiance TV show, Katya and Mark O’Connor (Hope Davis and Scott Cohen) and their daughter Natalie (Margarita Levieva) are part of a dormant Russian sleeper cell that has just been reactivated. Their mission is to turn son Alex (Gavin Stenhouse), an idealistic CIA analyst, into a spy. Others in the cast are Morgan Spector, Kenneth Choi, and Alex Peters.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/6 update: NBC has cancelled and pulled this drama after five episodes. Episodes will be released online.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Allegiance TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Thought the show was very good. Not really surprised when it was cancelled, I don’t think these networks really know what they are doing
Allegiance was the best show on television.
Once you watch it- you were hooked!
I’m assuming the low ratings were because lack of awareness.
I’m so upset that NBC canceled it versus creating more awareness of this great spy series.
So sorry this was cancelled it was a good show. They should cancel some of the canned laughter comedies.
Very disappointed this show was cancelled. We loved it!! There are so many bad TV shows that are on that could be cancelled instead.
Very disappointed this show was cancelled. It was very good. So much better than a LOT of other shows on network TV right now. I wish NBC would reconsider.
This is a top-notch show. Would be disappointed should it be canceled,
Love this show. Sorry to see it’s off the air
This was a total rip off from the Americans. For the most part, acting was great and had a good story line. The biggest draw back was Alex O’Conner. He just didn’t fit right. He was too dorky, high stung and weak. Alex should of been more of a dynamic strong minded male character, able to deal with all the unforeseen circumstances that faced him. He should have been seasoned and mature, instead of looking and acting like he just got out of High School. Given the job he was in, he was a train wreck and clueless. I think… Read more »
I think Alex is the best part of the show. Remember, he was supposed to be a desk analyst, never in the field. He is a pure data crunching guy always finding best routes and solutions given a set of data. Very honest and loyal. But then he pretty much leaps into a 3-5 year vet position on day 1, gets thrown into the field, finds out a few million of his people can die if he fails, finds out his family are spies, has to seriously blemish his career, and then has to spy himself… If it wasn’t for… Read more »
Maybe they can continue the show on CW? I know that NBC, CBS, and ABC sometimes create shows for competing networks? Heck NBC notoriously killed Star Trek. What a mistake it was, but had they been able to continue the show on other networks like CW, then everybody would have won.
I am shocked that NBC pulled this very interesting spy drama! I watched it e very week. I think it is a HUGE mistake. I hope some network picks it up because this show is worth watching!

I am upset also. This show was better then the Americans. I had stopped recording the Americans because I loved this one.
Me gusta alligiance…..Porque la quitaron???
Very disappointed Allegiance is canceled. Black List and Allegiance only two shows I watch. Should never have moved Black List to Thursdays.
I was very disappointed that they cancelled this show, I was looking forward to seeing it each week and was disappointed to see they had canceled it. I am also very upset to start watching a show and having it pulled like that. Was my favorite show!
