Being Human: Season Five Delayed on BBC America

Being Human season 5BBC America has announced that the fifth season of Being Human will now kick off on Saturday, July 13th, at 10pm. The science-fiction series was originally slated to return on June 8th.

It was announced earlier this year that season five would be the last season for the original version of Being Human. There are just six episodes.

The US version, which airs on Syfy, has been renewed for a fourth season of 13 episodes and will return some time in 2014.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to watching the last season of Being Human?

We love Being Human in America on SyFy. Was sad to see it have its last season but delighted that they have decided to bring it back – we love the American version here. Will look forward to seeing it return – so much more they can do with it.
When we see Law Order go on for over 20 years and still going, we do not understand why other good series go only a few short seasons ( the orginal “season” always was 22 CONSECUTIVE episodes) and then abruptly end. They did the same thing with the great series LEVERAGE – its a great series and we did not want it to end after 5-6 short seasons of only 6 episodes each ! When you have only a few episodes called a “season” it is hard to keep track of what is a “season”. Seasons for a series is suppose to have 22-23 CONSECUTIVE episodes. Not just 5 or 6 episodes – that is NOT “a season”.
