The first season of Galavant drew low ratings but ABC renewed it for a second season anyway. Will the numbers grow this time around or will they fall lower? Cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.
Galavant revolves around a brave and dashing hero (Joshua Sasse) — who can also sing and dance. Now that he’s discovered the dark side of Madalena (Mallory Jansen), Galavant’s adventures continue as he embarks on an unlikely bromance with King Richard (Timothy Omundson) and fights to rekindle the romance with his true love, Isabella (Karen David). Others in the cast include Vinnie Jones, Luke Youngblood, Ben Presley, Darren Evans, Stanley Townsend, Genevieve Allenbury, Sophie McShera, and Rutger Hauer.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
2/1 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The first season of Galavant averaged a 1.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.83 million viewers.
Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Galavant TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for third season?

PLEASE, PLEASE, keep this show. Yes, it is silly, but so is much of British comedy such as Bennie Hill & I love it, too. It takes you mind off much of the serious tragedy that is going on in the world. I love musicals and there are never any of those on any more. Please don’t cancel Galavant!
This ISN’T Britsh comedy, it’s an American production that was filmed in England, please learn to google.
Love, love, love this show! Watch it as a family and think it is absolutely hysterical. Finally something that is not so dumbed down and inane. PLEASE keep it !!!
Please don’t cancel Galavant. It is funny, cleaver and a family show. The visuals are so good, the people are well played and the writing is smart. All it really needs is some really good marketing. I have spread the word as much as can.
We love Galavant!! It reminds me of Monty Python which I love too! It’s funny, witty and silly! A nice escape from the same old humdrum shows. And I don’t like musicals but the lyrics are hysterical! Please bring it back!
Love this show! Please keep it!
Keep Galavant alive & well. Writing, acting, singing, choreography – brilliant! Such a far cry from the overly done, under whelming, distinctly not funny sitcoms. Clever & delightful. And gee, no dirty & inappropriate, tired 4 letter words. Refreshing. Showing our children that there’s talent & FUN still some where on television. Bravo! Do not send this gem to the dungeon where other fine shows have been dragged….. TPTB should loosen their ponytails & put down their cell phone, stop tweeting (such twits) & realize that the more we reduce ourselves to mediocrity, the more we all become invisible, trite,… Read more »
We think it was funny, refreshing, and entertaining. We really hope it comes back.
A breath of fresh air in a stale world. It is one of the corniest shows I have ever seen and I absolutely ADORE it!!! It is exactly what it is supposed to be! It certainly isn’t for the masses…but the crowd who enjoys this kind production will surely raise it to cult status. And I for one will be there throughout the journey!
It should have been cancelled about 1/2 way through season 1 and although I would not have thought it could get worse – it did in season 2 – get that garbage off the air.
