LOS ANGELES, CA – (October 26, 2011) – On the heels of HOMELAND’s biggest numbers yet, for this past Sunday’s airing, SHOWTIME has ordered a season two, consisting of 12 new one-hour episodes. I am glad homeland has been renewed it is a great show and the acting is superb. I watched Mandy Patinkin when he was in criminal minds and thought he was great in that and he is great in this show as the calming mentor for Claire. I am extremely glad that showtime is bringing this brilliant show back.

This show is incredible in its ability to create tension and drama. The actors are so believable in their own private missions, and what they are keeps one guessing. There are so few good shows on TV that really are intelligent and finally we have one. Bravo to Showtime

Damian Lewis makes this show for me. He is always enjoyable to watch. Though I have to say that the script, Claire Danes, and the director are all doing a bang up job too.
