Series Description:
A Candid Camera-like reality series created by Ashton Kutcher in which celebrites are tricked and become the victim of intricate practical jokes on camera.

Episode 65 – First Annual Punk’d Awards
Kutcher hosts a mock awards show featuring the best moments from the series while giving out awards for “Best Reaction from a Guy Who Could Kick Our Ass,” “Best Destruction of Private Property,” and the coveted “Man Tear” award. Celebrities featured included The Rock, Salma Hayek, Zach Braff, Elijah Wood, and others. Kutcher closes out the show by thanking the audience for eight wonderful seasons.

Kutcher has expressed interest in reviving the series for the web but it hasn’t happened thus far.


Behind the Scenes

In March 2007, MTV announced that the series was coming to an end.
In late 2003, MTV announced that Kutcher had decided not to discontinue production on Punk’d. This was actually a ploy so that celebrities would let down their guard and the third season began airing in April 2004.
