On Welcome to the Family, a pair of very different families are brought together when their teens get “in a family way.” The sitcom’s cast includes Mike O’Malley, Mary McCormack, Ricardo Chavira, Justina Machado, Ella Rae Peck, Joseph Haro, and Fabrizio Guido.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.     I like the idea and the first episode. But I agree it was slowe and under the potential of the idea. Certain things as the bad relationship of the father I feel forced. I think this could be funnier and better explain. The best the last scene, totally unexpected. I hope they don’ t cancel, but they need to improve the scrip.

    Good idea, but slow and choppy. It just jumped from here to there with no acting. The last scene held my interest because i love Mary McCormick, but it is missing that thing. It will be cancelled.
