This season started down, by 56% in the demo (vs a 0.9 rating) and down 44% in total viewers (vs 1.96 million). It’s worth noting that last season aired on Wednesday nights, evenings with more competition but also more potential viewers than on Fridays.
Reference point: The Fall 2011 season averaged a 0.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.84 million viewers.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you still like the America’s Next Top Model TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a 20th season?
Love watching the marathons. s
I did not enjoy this season. I really felt sorry for these girls. They are serious about a career and they add some idiot who dressesin women’s clothes, and the fan vote. What a joke. The jays were sorely missed. If no changes to include people who are serious about the business, and no more of that stupid booty or tush thing she keeps trying to promote, i wont be tuning in.
THEY DID’T FIRE NIGEL OR THE JAYS JAY QUIT AND THEN MISS JAY AND NIGEL QUIT 2
😛 😉 😛 😉 :p 😉 :p 😉 :p 😉
Bwahhhhhh I see Nigel Barker is getting his own modeling show in Feb 2013 called “The Face”. I guess firing him wasn’t such a bright idea. Go Nigel!

Ms. J and Mr. J helped make the show and were seriously missed this season. Also, giving the fans input was a stupid concept. Laura didn’t deserve to win. If she was so great why did she need the show? Her mother was a model and her father was in the entertainment industry. You mean these people didn’t have the connections to help get her in the industry? Scholarship money was involved and Laura’s win… Read more »

They should have cancelled this show when they fired Nigel Barger and the Jays. They made the show worth watching, Tyra was just a figure-head that tapped our emotions. LOL
She made a huge mistake keeping Kelly “Cuthroat” and dumping Nigel Barker and the two Mr. J’s. It’s not worth turning to now.
Yep I am done
