While Arrow is no longer the CW show with the best ratings, the series continues to do well for the network. Could it possibly be cancelled or is it sure to be renewed for a sixth season? Stay tuned.
On Arrow, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was ship-wrecked on a remote island in the South China Sea and presumed dead for five years. He returned home a changed man, bent on righting the wrongs of his family and fighting injustice. Other characters in season five are played by Katie Cassidy, Willa Holland, David Ramsey, Paul Blackthorne, Emily Bett Rickards, Echo Kellum, Josh Segarra, John Barrowman, and Colton Haynes.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
1/8 update: The CW has renewed Arrow for a sixth season. Details here.
5/25 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.

For comparisons: The fourth season of Arrow averaged a 0.94 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.49 million total viewers.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Arrow TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a sixth season?
I love this season with the twists that Just are to there’s in earlier seasons.
I dumped this show and every other show that had anything to do with DC or Berlanti Productions on April 6, 2016. I almost got suckered into coming back last fall when the EPs promised they were bringing Laurel back, but it turned out they were a bunch of liars. Now they’ve announced they’re bringing Katie back as a regular for the last two eps of season 5 and all of season 6, but she won’t be playing Laurel. So I will continue my boycott of all things DC and Berlanti until such time as they bring back Katie Cassidy… Read more »
I don’t like this season it’s boring and because of the non relationship between felicity and oliver so I stopped watching midway through the season
Wow! What does it matter? Watch a romantic movie then.
Wow! Your response to them saying they stopped watching to watch something else, is to go watch something else. I am the only one who sees the flawed logic here?
Do a season 6 it’s a good show I love it some people don’t like it then they don’t watch it but I love it and so do many others keep going
I hope it gets the axe after that foul gun control episode. I watch these shows for escapism and not be reeled into some writer’s political ideologue, one that’s ironic considering the entire show is based on violence. I never thought I’d turn off my TV because of arrow but after 10 or so minutes of that show, see ya.
Arrow was renewed for 6th season already.
I am sorry to see that once my favorite TV show went from 1.0 in S4 to now, it will probably finish S5 with 0.4. But we know CW rarely care for ratings, but consequently there will be less money for S6, that’s for sure. My opinion for this ratings and the FAIL of season 5: EPs don’t realize people do not care/know for comics, so instead to make TV show for TV viewers, they are making it for comics readers, and that is way this year characters we fell in love felt so OOC, and one dimensional:just like they… Read more »
It best on tv for superhero so good can’t wait every week to watch with my friends.
They actually don’t give a **** about the comics hence which in combination with their incompetence in regards to creating characters is why they suck so much.
This show is literally one of the most inaccurate portrayals of comics ever. Don’t blame comics for crappy tv bs.
Stupid question, but didn’t Oliver get rid of his bratva tattoo in the earlier seasons 2. I thought Felicity asked him about it and he said that he didn’t need it anymore. So if that’s true how did Susan know he had a bratva tattoo?
Not his Bratva tattoo. He get rid of he one on his back.
He removed the dragon tatoo, while they were on the travels (between seasons 3/4). The scene you mentioned happened in S4 premiere, scene at the beginning, the bed talk.
I never understood why the arrow keeps letting the bad guys off the hook?
End the bad guys so they can’t keep coming back to cause more problems and
hurt more people. This thing where the Arrow has to keep stopping the same
villain is getting boring.
Like he decides to not let Bratva kill Chase. So Chase end up murdering two federal marshals as a result. So two men are dead so Oliver can feel better about himself.
the brava wanted the drugs though which would in the long run be more hurtful towards the city
It’s because of the awful no killing rule inherent in comic books. They exaggerate every aspect of it to make it seem like if you kill people you’re Hitler until you decide to not kill people.
It’s bad writing for the hero to continually let a villain go knowing he’ll leave a pile of bodies in his wake but they keep using the same old tired trope
I just don’t like this season- nothing about it has hooked me. I keep watching hoping it will get better but it’s just a little campy now. Really disappointed that they killed off Laura Lance… I’m also over all of the flashbacks . Felicity Smoke character is the best part of the show.
Just bring back Laurel. That is all.
Just bring back Laurel. That is all
CANCEL , The Gun control episode did it for me. The show crapped on millions of its viewers with lies and bull****.
Loved season 1-4 because the Arrow showed off his muscles and physique! Lose the shirt once in a while.
People need to read comics to understand characters good or bad come and go!! Then they are replaced by other actors just like in comics.
Its a good show follows some comics and like walking dead does other stories and characters. Would love to see a few more seasons!!!
A good show shouldn’t have to depend on people having read the book to get it. I doubt most people have read the Game of Thrones books. A good show should be able to stand on its own as its own piece of work
I like the show and it needs to keep going.
