If you’re standing at the ready in wait of the second season of the Atlanta TV show on FX, you may want to take a seat. Deadline reports that at today’s TCA presentation, FX announced it is delaying Atlanta, season two, until 2018. Creator Donald Glover stars with Keith Stanfield, Brian Tyree Henry, and Zazie Beetz.
As problems go, this is not a bad one for Glover to have. His busy schedule is at the root of the postponement. In addition to his work on Atlanta, the star is playing Lando Calrissian in the Untitled Han Solo Star Wars anthology film, which is also due out in 2018. During the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Glover talked to the news outlet about taking on this dream role, saying. “Lando’s a big deal to me. It was literally the first toy I ever got.”
