What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Freeform cable channel, Baby Daddy stars Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Tahj Mowry, Derek Theler, Melissa Peterman, Chelsea Kane, Sura Harris, and Kayleigh Harris. The sitcom centers on Ben Wheeler (Bilodeau). After his one-night-stand, Angela (Mimi Gianopulos), leaves their baby on his doorstep, Ben decides to raise the child with the help of his family and friends. In season six, Ben is still searching for the mysterious Elle. Danny (Theler) and Riley (Kane) are on the hunt for a doctor to help with the pregnancy, and Bonnie (Peterman) wants to be involved. Tucker (Mowry) is back from Los Angeles, but he refuses to tell anyone what happened while he was there.
Season Six Ratings
The sixth season of Baby Daddy averaged a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 459,000 viewers. Compared to season five, that’s down by 18% and down by 18%, respectively. Learn how Baby Daddy stacks up against other Freeform TV shows.
On May 13, 2017, it was revealed that Baby Daddy had been cancelled so there won’t be a seventh season. Could it be revived somehow? Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
While it already has a decent-sized syndication package and Baby Daddy’s ratings have dropped from year to year, this sitcom is still one of Freeform’s better performers. Thus, it was renewed for season six. Since this TV series is a half-hour sitcom, it is cheaper to produce than the typical hourlong drama, so its fate could depend on the success of Freeform’s pilot season. Because it’s still too early in the season to assess whether Baby Daddy will be cancelled or renewed for season seven on Freeform, I’ll keep an eye on the ratings and update this page, periodically. Yes of course I hope I get to see a 7th season i mean I’ve been crushing over this show this year and now I find that it being cancelled no I want it to come back and I really want to see Danny and Riley baby grow up with Emma and ben future wife so please I hope it comes back
So my answer is… YES duh I’d watch season 7
I am so sad and a little angry that they cancelled baby daddy season 7. If yhey could add one or start one that would be more than awesome.
I really liked Baby Daddy and I am upset that there won’t be a season 7 to enjoy. Hopefully things change and there will end up being a season 7. I personally done away with cable and I watched it on Netflix. So hopefully the ratings aren’t just based on the cable viewings because so many people are doing away with cable/satellite and going to Netflix and such.
I want season 7. Riley and Danny’s kid? WE don’t get to see him much at all.
