CBS has had mixed success with new sitcoms this season. The Crazy Ones looks like it could be cancelled because the ratings weren’t high enough. How will Bad Teacher perform? Will it be renewed for a second season or will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
On Bad Teacher, a former trophy wife (Ari Graynor) masquerades as a teacher in order to find a new man to marry. The rest of the cast includes Kristin Davis, David Alan Grier, Sara Gilbert, Ryan Hansen, and Sara Rodier.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/10 update: CBS has cancelled Bad Teacher after three airings.
7/27 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page. You can also see them here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Bad Teacher TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?
I love this show and I request that this be continued. I’m not American or even European; I’m from Middle East and I love this.please!!!!!!!
Its not always the ratings that CBS should look at,give a show a chance,It was really freaking funny, even the crazy ones was funny, the sad thing is that people today want to see blood, and killing,or silly singing…We need more light hearted shows,so what if its not and hit with everyone, heck stat trek had bad ratings, and look what happened ??? its a great show..
Agree with Mark – we need more charming, funny, less violent sitcoms. They seem silly to some, but they are a great escape from the stress and negativity of real life. Often they are very well-written, have a great cast & leave a smile on my face by the end of the episode (this was also the case for The Neighbors, an misunderstood gem). They may look brainless on the surface, but they are actually quite insightful and have nuances that actually reflect, amusingly, on real life.
Star trek was cancelled. Lol
Hubby & I love Bad Teacher! First couple of episodes not sure, but it got better & better with every episode. Please bring it back; now one of our favorites.
I stumbled across Bad Teacher earlier this summer. Love the show. It’s hilarious. I hope some network picks it up as I would most certainly continue to watch.
I absolutely love this show. If it would just stop getting canceled people would be able to know when it’s on. I hope another network picks it up!
