Starz is ready to bring another royal drama to their network. The new drama, titled Becoming Elizabeth, focuses on the life of Elizabeth I before she took on the crown.

Per Deadline, Becoming Elizabeth “centers on the young Elizabeth Tudor, an orphaned teenager who becomes embroiled in the political and sexual politics of the English court on her journey to secure the crown.”

This series will join The Spanish Princess on Starz. That series was renewed for a second season earlier this year.

A premiere date or cast for Becoming Elizabeth has not been revealed. Anya Reiss, a playwright, created the royal drama.
