Bones ended its run on FOX last week, and the star of the series, Emily Deschanel, spoke about the series finale in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
The actress shared her thoughts on the finale and her favorite moments in it. She said the following:
“There are so many scenes leading up to the finale that got to me, and then scenes in the finale. The last scene with the squinterns — it was really special because I rarely get to see them all together. We’ve all had so many different times, just personally, off camera, and so many things have happened for all of them and for me over the course of working with them over so many years. Carla Gallo started tearing up, and then I started crying… My character is looking back and thanking them for everything all of their characters have done, so that was an emotional thing on camera and off, and it really allowed us to recognize the importance of that time. And it was the last scene I was going to film with them. My last scene shooting with our other regulars, like Tamara [Taylor] and Michaela and TJ, was just funny because it was just kind of a crisis situation, what we shot last. But the one saying goodbye to the squints, that really got to me.”
As for the show’s legacy, she wants fans to remember Bones in the following way:
“I would hope it’s remembered as the little show that could. It was a show that never got the attention of other shows, necessarily, but we went for so long, and our fans were so incredibly loyal.”

I always enjoyed this show. Very good writing and interesting plot twists. The characters were so well developed and the actors playing them were so believable. Very well acted. I will miss them in this show. Hope to see them move on to more greatness.
Boo I love Bones I’m sad it has ended
I will forever be a devoted fan and have set a goal to get all 12 seasons on DVD. I never tire of the show. I think it’s the best series ever put on TV.
The only series that I watched from the beginning until the end. Thank you for being that different type of detective show, it tought us many things! Loved it. I will watch all the reruns now!!!! Still sad it ended.
I would have watched Bones forever. It was one of 3 shows I watch on TV. Not a big fan of the box, but I loved Bones. Sad
Loved the show been a fan of David B and Emily D also TJ thyne and the rest of the cast hate to see the show end but I’m such a fan of the Actors and Actresses that I will take an interest in any new shows they appear or star in #Thank-you Bones

Myself my husband and my kids watched Bones everytime it was on. We LOVED Bones and Booth. The show was great!!!
