Last night’s farewell episode of Burn Notice set a record for the show’s seventh season with 4.97 million viewers tuning in and a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic. It was cable’s second most-watched program of the night, falling behind Thursday Night Football coverage.
The finale brought Burn Notice’s best ratings since July of last year.
The show’s numbers have been dropping over the past couple years. The seventh season wrapped as the show’s lowest-rated year with an average of 3.71 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

Burn Notice was the best spy show ever! With all of the effects, twist and turns with the plot and suspense glued me in my seat. The cast team was also great to watch, good acting and good looking. Miami! It is a shame to allow the show to end like it did. I really want to know if Michael’s mother is really dead? The series creator is open to it but there are no plans.
I loved the whole season. But I am a bummin boy. The best how on tv is over.
