Talk about unexpected. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the second season of Hulu’s Casual will reunite Life Unexpected star Britt Robertson with the series’ creator, Liz Tigelaar.
Tigelaar is now an executive producer for the Hulu dramedy.
Created by Tigelaar in 2010, Life Unexpected starred Robertson as Lux Cassidy, a girl given up for adoption who later reunites with her birth parents. The CW series was cancelled in 2011 after two seasons.
For season two of Casual, Robertson has been cast as Fallon, an assistant to a venture capitalist played by Vincent Kartheiser.
From Tigelaar, in a press statement:
I am beyond thrilled that Britt has joined Casual for an arc this season. She’s an incredible talent, who’s such a natural fit and perfect in the role, and, sentimentally, it’s so much fun to be working together again. And I promised her, no crying or beanies this time around.”
Season two of Casual is currently in production.
What do you think? Did you watch Life Unexpectedi? Do you watch Casual? Will you watch season two?
