ABC has a new comedy. Deadline reports the network has picked up a new pilot called Charlie Foxtrot.

The single-camera comedy comes from Blunt Talk writer Sam Sklaver and Kapital Entertainment.

From Deadline:

Penned by Sklaver, Charlie Foxtrot –– military slang for a clusterfuck — centers on Charlie Taylor, a cautious, quiet dentist stationed at Fort Bragg, who, after his brother Joe is killed in action, must honor his promise to take care of Joe’s teenage step-kids and fiancée, Angelina, a defiant troublemaker whose impulsive behavior forces Charlie to be the hero he never imagined he could be.”

Sklaver will executive produce the series alongside Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor.
