NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

My family really liked this show. It didn’t stand a chance because they kept moving the time. We never knew when it was gonna be on. Please bring this show back.

Chase is about the only show that I watch on NBC. Maybe if they give the show a chance instead of changing the time and day they would get alot more people watching it. They have a poor record of putting a show on and after a couple of episodes taking it off they need to let something catch on instead of cancelling the show.
Chase was an action packed, real to life program which held your attention all the way through. Don’t know if you put it in the wrong time slot or what that lead to the low ratings. Honestly think NBC should reconsider and give the show another chance.
My husband and I been looking for Chase to air again and then read this. We are very disappointed in what we read. It is ferreting that NBC is taking off such a good show, and to replace it with a game show that is getting old and boring fast? This makes no since. When a network moves shows around to different time and days it will effect ratings but only til fans find that they moved to a different time slot and start watching it again. Chase was one of the best shows on tv. I looked forward to watching it all week!!! There is nothing else worth watching on NBC!!! They should put Chase on Fox or CBS or any other channel for that matter!!! I miss Chase, bring it back!!!
I loved this show and I was looking forward to enjoying the shows entertainment. I’m upset this show chase did not make the grade because its such a good drama and i will miss it. In my opinoin i believe NBC needs to find a better schedule day for the show.

Chase is a excellent show, I can’t understand it got low ratings. What do people want to watch, stupid game shows? Give me a break.
I love CHASE, the biggest problem it has is it is on the wrong network, if it was on CBS, they wouldve found a spot for it to be supported and succeed, hell look at all the crime dramas that they have compared to the overs and how good they are.
This deeply saddens me, CHASE is an amazing show with a very talented cast. I think NBC needs to focus more on how they’ve been advertising for the show. CHASE has captivated me more than UNDERCOVERS ever did! I think there was a formula missing from that show that CHASE has managed to make up for. NBC should really reconsider pulling this show and look at how they can gain exposure to bring in the right audience for the show. BRING CHASE BACK!!!!!!!!
