NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching Chase. It was an action packed, real to life program and held your attention from start to finish. I believe NBC pulled the plug too soon. Hope you seriously consider giving this show another chance.
I NEVER MISSED AN EPISODE OF “CHASE” FROM THE MOMENT I SAW PREVIEWS I WAS HOOKED!!!!!! NBC NEEDS TO BRING IT BACK, ASAP!! WHY IS IT THAT NETWORKS ALWAYS PUT THE GOOD SHOWS ON DAYS THAT DOOM IT FOR FAILURE??? WISE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, worked out real well for them on Monday’s, right where they should be, b/4 you moved them to a shittier night. And put the freak’n cape and Harry’s law crap in there time slot, always manage to take off the best of the best shows/thank-u-very much!!!! t..v. ain’t worth watch’n anymore. YES-bring them back, and the “Unit” too….
I can’t believe this show has been taken off the air.. I was super upset when the netwirk change the day it came on without any notice, then to completely take off has made the situation worse. I finally found a show that has captured my attention and now it has been taken off. Im very upset with NBC for this. Please reconsider your decision on canceling this show.
Bring Chase Back!! It was one of the only shows NBC has gotten right in a long time! One of the best shows out there. Enough of the lame game and reality shows.
I loved Chase. It was a great show. I think NBC is crazy not to let the public see the rest of the series.

I love chase, watched an episode on a trip to America last fall and just had to keep watching. It’s a shame tv companies do that to shows.. Yes in America 5.5 million viewers is paltry but in Scotland that’s pretty much the entire country. Why not just air a show to the end of season or even still put them all on air back to back for one or two nights and that’s them aired, keeps the viewers happy and will convince them to watch other NBC shows like Chuck and the cape.
NBC is lame! Finally a show that we could watch as a family! No surprise – NBC needs to wise up. Hopefully another network or cable will pick it up.
We have watched every episode of “Chase” and enjoyed every one of them. It is has been very disappointing that there have been all two episodes for this season – so far. We enjoyed the fast paced scenes and all of the main cast.
Most of the people I have talked really enjoy the show and are wondering “what happened.
I loved chase! The two part episode that was in january was awesome and I really hope they bring it back if only to finish the season.

I can not beleive you replace chase with such an stupid show like minute to win it. I love chase and I think you guys should bring it back as soon as possible.
