NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

Bring Chase back! Find a new day and time – it will work if enough people see it.
Networks give up so easily on some shows – usually the good ones. Find it an audience by trying this summer! It’s worth it.
I want them to bring back Chase! Annie Frost is my hero! I love the fact that she is a woman and a U.S. Marshall I look up to that, I’m disappointed that a silly show that is created to basically waste peoples time when they have nothing else to do would be replaced and considered better than a show that actually has a story and a purpose. I would love for it to be brought back, or at least let it air on a different channel.
I too cannot believe it…I really looked forward to it and to insure I wouldn’t miss any episodes I would DVR them so I could watch them at later time… The last show aired was one of the best ever… I really like the cast, it makes me crazy when the networks do this and they’ve done it to other shows. I’ve mentioned this to a lot of people how much I liked it…Please at least allow us to see the last five episodes. i realy liked chase i would hate to see it canceled i just got into it and i love it
I absolutely loved the show….couldn’t wait to watch it every week. I think its NBC’s fault it didnt work out..it was a lack of advertising, because anyone who would have watched the show wouldve been instantly hooked, without a doubt. BIG mistake NBC, I sure hope someother network picks it up and does more to advertise it, like it shouldve been in the first place.

chase is one of the best action shows on tv. it’s different and the lead actress kicks ass! dont cancel this show!
I can’t beleieve they took Chase off. It was a great show. Actually it was one of the better law enforcement shows that is on tv. To me it was more real to life episodes, sure it had its usual love between cops but not so mussy as a few I have seen. I thought the episodes kept you on the edge of your seat a few times as to who done it. I don’t feel they overplayed the female cops position- some women are as tuff as she protrays and can stand her ground against the men.

I am boycotting NBC because they canceled Chase. It was the best show running primetime. The only reason viewer numbers went down was due to changing day and time where noone could follow it! Just what we need is another idiotic reality show. Boycott NBC!
Love chase, please bring it back. Reality shows are for the birds. Real people want series not reality shows.

Chase was so well done and exciting. It was as violent as so many shows which was great. I am going to miss it. Sometime I think the networks have no idea who is watching what. I am not watching NBC much at all as they keep cancelling shows I like a lot.
