The network giveth and the network taketh away.
Even though the Chase series performed poorly right from the start, NBC gave the TV show a full season order of 22 episodes. Now, the peacock network has trimmed back that order to just 18 installments.
On the positive side, NBC is moving Chase out of the Mondays at 10pm timeslot. It’ll no longer have to battle against Castle and the new Hawaii Five-0. Unfortunately, beginning January 12th, it’ll be airing in a far more competitive timeslot. Chase is moving to Wednesdays at 9pm where it’ll do battle with American Idol.
The most recent episode of Chase garnered a 1.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.03 million total viewers. That’s the second significant increase in two weeks but the series is still doing terribly and is consistently in a distant third place for the timeslot.
Chase has averaged a 1.6 rating for the season, just slightly better than now-cancelled Undercovers. Unless there’s a significant turnaround, it’s pretty clear that Chase will be cancelled at the end of the season.

PLEASE don’t cancel it! The last 2 episodes had me on the edge of my seat like no other show has ever made me!!! It is one of my top shows and I watch a lot of tv! I will boycot law and order SVU on NBC if they cancel it!

PLEEEEEEEEEEASE don’t cancel Chase. I had no idea that cancelling this exciting, well written & acted series would even be an option. Everyone I know (including me) has been watching it weekly so I was under the impression that it was one of the “hit series” for the season. I was really disapointed when it didn’t air last night (Feb 2). In my opinion it’s the only Wednesday night show worth watching. Please keep up the good work and keep the episodes coming!
Please DO NOT cancel Chase. I hate all the reality shows which are totally DUMB. Chase is a great show and full of excitement. Please, for us who love entertaining programs, do not cancel Chase. It is a great program and we watch it every week!!!!!!!!!!
NBC is making a mistake cancelling….the only TV show that I care to watch these Days. Kelly Giddish is a great actress!!

PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL. This is one of my top shows that has come out recently. It is nice to have a decent show that I can watch instead of all the stupid reality crap. Networks have a history of canceling really good rated shows to replace them with reality, my question to the networks. What happens when people really get sick of reality T.V and you have nothing to back your network up with, some shows that have actual appeal and sustenance? Will you end up filing bankruptcy? One of my favorite shows and I don’t like much of what is on t.v these days. Finally get a decent show and your going to cancel it.. Why? Move to a better time slot if thats the problem. Garbage seems to be the norm on t.v. these days. People don’t know quality when it’s in front of them.

We missed “Chase” tonight. An hr of “minute 2 win it” is too much! Chase characters were just getting good. Maybe another network like TNT will pick it up like they did “Southland”. Chase fans

This is a great show please reconsider no cancelling. Being a Texan and Female, I like seeing a strong women as well as the Texas Ranger/US Marshall affect. If cant watch in time slot network choses always DVR and watch on weekend. Hope also that it says around for awhile
