It seems NBC has had enough of justice in the “Windy City.” Deadline reports the Chicago Justice TV show is cancelled; there will be no season two of the legal drama series.
The latest in Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise, Chicago Justice follows the prosecutors and investigators who make up the State’s Attorney’s team. The NBC cast includes Philip Winchester, Carl Weathers, Monica Barbaro, Joelle Carter, and Jon Seda.
Chicago Justice: A Look at the Ratings
Despite the success of the Peacock network’s other Chicago series, Chicago Justice struggled in the ratings during its first season. The show, which premiered in March, has only earned an average rating of 1.13 in the 18-49 demo, averaging 6.202 million viewers over the course of its first season. While these aren’t terrible numbers, they do make Chicago Justice the lowest-rated of the Chicago series. Maybe viewers have had enough of the “Windy City,” too.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Chicago Justice? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a second season on NBC?

Always ruin a good thing – have the really stupid idea of placing Chicago Justice on at the wrong time – happens all the time to really good shows – goes to show what silly stupid shows make “the grade” – of course we are in the retired group
so I guess our opinion doesn’t count for much.
I am very disappointed that is one of the best shows ever. It goes very well with Chicago PD and Chicago fire I hope if you cancel Chicago justice I hope that Antonio is put back on Chicago PD I think he is a great actor.
I enjoyed all Chicago’s program and I love the way they interact with each other…please, do not cancel, move it to a week day and continue it…
Very disappointed that Chicago Justice has been cancelled. I enjoyed watching the show on Sunday nights.
Very disappointed.
Very sorry to hear this great show has been cancelled. I love it. All networks should get rid of all those fake ‘reality shows’. I never watch any of them. I prefer to be entertained by good story lines and acting. Please re-consider.
I watched it faithfully. Hard to believe it’s cancelled. I was looking forward to seeing some old Law and Order characters!
What the hell? This show is awesome! You have to give people a chance to find out about it. How can cancel a show after one season. RENEW CHICAGO JUSTICE PLEASE!!!
NBC should’ve put Chicago Justice on Thursday and flushed Stupid Store and what ever shitcoms they had on after it
Too bad. This one and PD are the best of the group, as far as I am concerned. Med should have been the first to go
Chicago Justice was a good show should not be cancelled
Good show, wrong night. Just change the night it airs. Can’t stand the reality junk like the bachelor or bachelorette, enough of the dancing and talent shows too. Only appealing show like that is the Voice as the bantering between Adam and Blake is a hoot.
Sometimes you have to ignore ratings and give a new show time to gain followers. Starting out on Sunday night is a killer to begin with especially competing with established shows on other networks. Put it on Monday night where there is nothing worth watching or drop Chicago Med. Tired of medical shows! A summer fil- in. Nothing to watch in the summer!
I Like the show….It was on the wrong night…it should be on a weekday night…I like all 4 Chicago shows …VERY DISAPPOINTED….
I liked the show and would have continued watching I hope this means Antonio is coming back to Chicago PD… Very upset Lindsay left..
