Fans of Syfy‘s Continuum have been waiting to find out the fate of the series. The show hasn’t been renewed yet — but it hasn’t been cancelled either.
Continuum revolves around a female police officer (Rachel Nichols) from the year 2077 who ends up being transported back to 2012 with a group of rebels. The cast also includes Victor Webster, Erik Knudsen, Stephen Lobo, Roger Cross, Lexa Doig, Tony Amendola, Omari Newton, Luvia Petersen, Jennifer Spence, and Brian Markinson.
The show’s official Twitter feed recently announced that series creator Simon Davis Barry would be doing a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) in the near future — “as a thank you” to the fans.
A follower asked if this “thank you” was meant as a goodbye to the series. The response was “Hell no! ;)”.
In the past several weeks, Barry and writer Denis McGrath have both indicated that a decision would be coming “soon.” Hopefully “soon” will be soon.
The third season of Continuum finished airing in late June of this year. Here in the US, on Syfy, the season was down by 30% year-to-year in viewership.

I discovered this show late, only in November 2014 and have binge-watched it through! It is Fantastic! Great story, script, filming, quality and performances of all the fine actors! I love all the actors of every character (how they play them!), and especially the beautiful and charismatic Rachel Nichols!
This is a great show, please find a way to allow them to tell the whole story!

This is one of the very few programs on TV that we find interesting, creative and imaginative. Give us a few more seasons!

The Netherlands here, this is a great scifi serie. I loved all the 3 seasons and with the last cliffhanger you can’t let the viewers stay in the dark.

Yes I love this show I buy in on vudu then watch it when I can. Contiuum is a well written show with a great cast.
I’m a bit concerned because two of their characters, one main one, and a dead one, (that reoccurs in flashbacks) are on The 100. To me that spells doom. As an older watcher I watched as Sliders vanished and then went to hell, I hope this series continues.
That doesn’t mean anything. Half of Continuum cast was on Arctic Air as well while both shows were airing.
How can they cancel such an incredible show? Don’t do to Continuum what Fox did to Fringe, screw the fans.
