Investigation Discovery Renews The Coroner: I Speak for the Dead Season Two
While The Coroner: I Speak for the Dead was one of five shows Investigation Discovery cancelled in June 2016, it seems to have come back from the dead. ID has renewed The Coroner: I Speak for the Dead for a second season of 10 episodes, according to Deadline.
The Coroner, season two, will premiere on Investigation Discovery in the summer of 2017. The docu-sieres follows Dauphin County Pennsylvania coroner, Graham Hetrick, as he helps resolve homicide cases and more.

I loved this show. Very, very good! The Coroner is such a likeable, calm and articulate man, and the cases are fascinating! I really look forward to more seasons – Please!! When it airs in the UK, I will certainly be watching that show!
I absolutely LOVE this show! I’m so happy it was renewed! As a Registered Nurse, I found it to be a remarkably well told story of the investigative aspects into a person’s death. The Coroner is very intelligent, articulate, a great investigator and an incredibly compassionate doctor. This show demonstrates ‘reality’ television at it’s best in my opinion. I don’t know why this show was cancelled – I’m not really you’re “ID” type of guy, but I thought this was better than most other shows of this genre. Would definitely watch another season.
