Comedy Central is getting to work. According to Deadline, the network has ordered a pilot for a dark workplace comedy, Corporate.
The series comes from writer Matt Ingebretson and directors Jake Weisman and Pat Bishop. A satirical comedy, Corporate will follow “Matt (Ingebretson) and Jake (Weisman), two junior executives-in-training who are forced to do the dirty work of the higher-ups at one of the world’s largest corporations, Hampton DeVille.”
Ingebretson has previously written for McSweeney’s and recently published The Impolite, a collection of comedy essays from L.A.-based comedians such as Megan Amram, Eddie Pepitone, and fellow Corporate collaborator Jake Weisman.
What do you think? Does Corporate sound like something you’d watch?
