This will be the first full season of Dallas without Larry Hagman’s JR Ewing. Can the cast and producers continue to draw viewers and solid ratings without their quintessential bad guy? Will the new Dallas be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season? Stay tuned to find out.
Airing on Monday nights, Dallas continues to follow the machinations of the dysfunctional and powerful Ewing clan. The cast includes Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Mitch Pileggi, Emma Bell, Kuno Becker, and Juan Pablo Di Pace.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
Final season averages: 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.92 million total viewers.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Reference point: The second season of the new Dallas averaged a 0.8 demo rating and 2.67 million viewers.
Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays. They are sometimes harder to come by so there may be occasional delays or gaps.
What do you think? Do you still like the Dallas series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
Update: TNT has cancelled Dallas after three seasons. Details here.
I wish Dallas would return to TV. There’s nothing like a good Ewing drama. They have had the right formula since Day 1. We all miss this show.
Dallas is not over. There are too many fans that want it back. Network people need to realize this. There’s money in it for them and pleasure for us. So let’s get with it! Bring back Dallas!
I will be at Southfork in spirit. I can’t get away that quick. But my heart is with those who can. May they beat the drums for a Dallas return!

Dallas will return…I just know it…..Then us as fans and the show will have the last laugh….
Can not wait to see it again!
When Dallas comes back, they’re going to be surprised to see how many people watch this show. So let’s get off your duff and bring it back, please.
I can’t think of a better show than Dallas. Why did it get cancelled? It never should’ve been cancelled. I hope that it will return. We all miss it.
How about a Dallas movie? We haven’t had one in a while. At least let us have a small dose of Dallas again.
Dallas was my favorite show. Please bring it back. We all miss it.
If they put Dallas back on TV, I’d watch it along with millions of others. Do the math, TNT…do the math.
If they don’t bring Dallas back to TV…then they don’t know squat. That junk they leave on is worthless compared to Dallas. Please bring back a classy show. Bring back Dallas.
I’d like to see Dallas on TV again. Please bring it back. At least do some TV Movies as they have done in the past. This show is dearly missed.

I would like to to see Dallas returned to TV. It was my favorite show. I watched it every time it came on. Been watching this show for years. It’s a shame to have cancelled it.
Every day that goes by, I wonder about Dallas back on TV. It was better than all the other shows. It didn’t deserve to be cancelled. TNT…bad mistake on your part.
I really think if enough people would contact TNT and voice their displeasure, they might reconsider. My suggestion is to email the TNT network directly and voice how upset we are about their decision. They should have never placed the show on Monday nights to begin with. It was in direct competition with WWE Wrestling, along with shows like The Voice, etc.
If they would have kept it on Wednesday, their ratings would have doubled. They did not stop and consider this in their decision.
