It was a disappointing return for the folks at Southfork. The season premiere marked a series low in viewership and nearly matched a low in the demo.
Reference point: The first season of the new Dallas averaged a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.42 million total viewers.
Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays. They are sometimes harder to come by so there may be occasional delays or gaps.
What do you think? Do you still like the new Dallas TV series? Are you hoping that it’s renewed for a third season?

I’ve very much enjoyed watching the new DALLAS and hope it comes back for a third season. All of the actors are top notch and I hope the show stays on the air for as long as they want to play these interesting characters.
Love it love it Love It! Please renew it for a third season.
Love the new Dallas. Watch the reruns of I miss on Monday nights. Hope it will be renewed for a third season. Love the stars that are back, and John Ross is a “chip off the old block. ” Taking off the show would be a huge loss.
please keep dallas going and bring back tp 9pm slot best show on tv
Love the new one….was glued every Friday night to the old one!!! Please renew
The show is fantastic – it would be a shame to cancel it just because the network decided to move the show from the summer. If TNT doesn’t like the new ratings, then please move it back to the summer and continue the show for at least another season to gage the post-Larry Hagman interest.
LOVE Dallas!! Please renew!!
Renew this show !!! Best show on tv period!!!!!
LOVE the New Dallas…better than the first one and I have watched both…I hope it is renewed for a third season.
PLEASE renew Dallas for season 3!!!!!!!!!!!!! Itrs the only show worth watching!!!!
Multiple stars of the show have said ratings are still in line with expectations and TNT Execs are happy, plus a Steve Koonin interview was optimistic. Season 3: No TNT news yet (I know trusty TVSF would be almost first to post if so) but NY Daily News reports Patrick Duffy said “Dallas 2.0 will be back for a third season”
Yes – I’m absolutely in favor of a third season.
LOVE THE SHOW! Keep it going. Updated but true to the original!
