What’s This TV Show About?
A sitcom on the TBS cable channel, The Detour stars Jason Jones, Natalie Zea, Ashley Gerasimovich, Liam Carroll, and Daniella Pineda. Season two guest stars include executive producer and co-creator Samantha Bee, as well as James Cromwell, John Oliver, Laura Benanti, Jeffrey Vincent Parise, and Max Casella. In season two of this family comedy, Nate (Jones) gets a new job opportunity, so the Parkers make a fresh start in the Big Apple. Robin (Zea) is less than excited, because a move to NYC could reveal her mysterious past. While Nate and Robin adjust to the move, Jared (Carroll) and Delilah (Gerasimovich) claw their way through adolescence. Regardless of parenting mishaps and questionable decisions, love keeps the Parker family intact.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of The Detour TV show averaged a 0.42 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.07 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s up by 5% and up by 23%, respectively. Learn how The Detour stacks up against other TBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Season two of The Detour got off to an okay start and the ratings are up when compared to the first season’s numbers. I’m confident that TBS will renew this comedy for a third season. As the season progresses, I’ll keep and eye on the ratings and update this page, periodically.

I hope this show gets cancelled. I think it is completely garbage.
I totally disagree! It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen a family comedy show with such daring dialog, chemistry between the actors who play man and wife, and scenes like the electric fence had me downright roaring!
This show is a great asset to tbs very funny and real. I hope will be renewed for a long time
