Last year, USA Network cleaned house; cancelling or ending TV shows like Rush, White Collar, Burn Notice, and Covert Affairs. They have several new shows in the works and are hoping that series like Dig will bring better ratings. Will Dig be a hit or a flop? Cancelled or renewed for a second season? We’ll have to wait and see.
On the Dig TV show, a dedicated and headstrong FBI agent named Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs) takes a job stationed in Israel under the guidance of his new boss (and occasional lover) Lynn Monahan (Anne Heche). While investigating a young American’s murder, Connelly uncovers an ancient international conspiracy — one that threatens to change the course of human history. The rest of the cast includes Ori Pfeffer, Melinda Page Hamilton, Alison Sudol, Regina Taylor, David Costabile, and Lauren Ambrose.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
7/1 update: In some promotions, the cable channel is encouraging people to watch “the entire series” on demand — an indication that the show is over.
Final season averages: 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.21 million total viewers.

What do you think? Do you like the Dig TV series? Do you think that it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Awesome!….Love It…. Please continue the series!
It should have been renewed. It was a GREAT show #
Please renew!!!
#DigDeeper AWESOME SHOW!!!!!! Great Actors, writing, production, scenery!!!! Held my interest throughout the binge watching! Please bring us more Seasons!!!
Dig was so awesome. It has everything: mystery, intrigue, history; you name it. Please let it continue. I love well thought out shows that make you think. Enough of the mindless shows that every other network has. Dig could be another ‘Lost.’
Some parts reminded me of Lost too.
“DIG,” the series was wonderful and had all the elements a great and fantastic story should have, but it was a complete self-contained unit. Like a single pearl. It might be strung on a necklace with a lot of other individual pearls or other gems, but none of them would be a continuation of each other or any other individual gem. It would be great to see another story using these characters and some new for the ones lost, but the situation would have to be different. Since the Middle East and Israel are the hub of a lot of… Read more »
I don’t think just one season of 10 episodes is enough to take Dig off the air. The first season was excellent and I hope you rethink your decision to cancel the show. Especially after the awesome season finale. Please give it another chance.
A great show with both drama and history. One of the best on cable. On regular TV too!
Please keep the show it is the best show.
KEEP IT!! I love it , it’s My favorite show!!!!
Renew!! It’s an amazing show!!
Nonsense! USA had press releases re:season 2 right after the season 1 finale!
We can’t be left hanging after a season finale like that! Dig must be renewed! It’s the best thing USA has going and so much more could happen in the storyline! I truly hope they don’t give up on it. I don’t watch much TV, and Dig has been my favorite show since I became a fan of Homeland!
I agree completely!
I loved the show. I was hoping it would return this fall.
I waited for this show once I saw the trailors. It was fabulous, enjoyed it so very much. …got my bible out read up on the red calf, the Sunday before it aired our Sunday topic was about Aaron,s breastplate and attire. I found the series Dig to be thought provoking, we’ll thought out,and a very nice trip it took me on……..so YES please bring it back. Not many shows are this brilliant and we’ll played out.
The show is a must for renewal. I agree with previous comments, it had everything and was interesting as …. well it was very very interesting I hope the execs don’t look at just one season of average ratings. Please don’t make a mistake with DiG bring it back.
