It was an underwhelming start for the new reality series. It tied with a repeat of The Middle on ABC for second place. If it dips in week two (as most new shows do), it’ll likely drop to third or fourth place. This premiere was less than half of what CBS saw from last summer’s Big Brother return.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Dogs in the City TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Great show! Seems like he knows what he is doing with the animals as well as their owners . He is just very logical. It all makes sense.
Definitely renew!!! It’s the only show we look forward to every week!
I love this show please don’t cancel it
I am crazy for this show. Justin Silver is adorable and he knows people as well as he knows the dogs.
I really like “Dogs in the City” I am always up to learning new ways to train dogs. I always hope more people who have trouble with dogs would watch these type of shows. Maybe they would see it is the human not the dog who have the trouble.
definitely renew this show
I love this show, please keep this one. I love how Justin doesn’t just work with the dogs but also the people who own them, as in any relationship it is 50-50…good and bad. Please leave this one on !!!!!!!!
It should be renewed. This is the only reality show that I like. It’s down to earth w/o a lot of drama.
I love this show. I really hope they renew it.
The show is awful … Justin doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing.
I have learned a lot about dogs watching this show. Please keep going. I had a pit bull mix run at me the other day and by watching the show I was able to keep the dog from attacking me and I did not panick. Thanks!!
Dogs in the City is my favorite show, don’t you dare cancel it. Justin’s honesty is wonderfully refreshing, I would watch it if this show if it was on every night of the week!! The dogs (and their behaviors) are interesting to watch, not to mention Mr. Silver.:> We need to hear what Justin has to teach us about HEALTHY interactions with our pets. Which might be why he “talks so much”. KEEP Dogs in the City on the air…I think the networks expect too much too soon. It is summertime after all.
Really enjoy this show, different take on reality tv. I do not like the others but enjoy this, it is not fake? Enjoy all the dogs, everyone loves dogs!!!!
AUDI O TOO Loud!!!! BAck ground. Music
Can’t hear the dialog.
enjoy the show but the volume of the ADS And back ground music drown out the best part.
Check the audio settings on your tv. I adjusted my one tv perfectly to bring voices up which automatically reduced commercials, music and background noise.
Still working on the other two. 🙂
NYC loves its animals, as do people all over the country & the world. This program is outstanding. Justin knows his stuff. Where do people go to learn how to teach their dogs? I think this show is invaluable.
Someone mentioned that the show only deals with people. Of course, it does. People own dogs. People are responsible for their animals. People train their animals. I hope the show will be back on network TV.
