Dominion aired its season two finale on Syfy on Thursday night, and now fans want to know if the series will return for a third season. Is there a chance that Dominion will be cancelled?
There is no word from SyFy yet on the future of the series, but the man behind the series, Vaun Wilmott, is hopeful about the chances the show has for season three renewal.
In an interview with TV Line, Wilmott spoke about the series’ chances.
“Right now, we’re waiting to hear… I know they are very happy with the show creatively, they have really supported me and the show. The numbers will come in, and we’ll hear. As of now, I don’t really have an inkling. I’m hopeful.”
The season two finale had some big moments, and it left a lot of things up in the air. Wilmott told TV Insider that the finale was meant to be a set up for season three.
What will fans see in Dominion season three if it happens? A “wild ride” is planned, according to Wilmott. The Chosen One and Lucifer will go to war.

Dominion is one of the better Supernatural/Fantasy shows on TV right now. The best episodes have been the pilot (which was amazing!) and the season 2 finale. I definitely want to see where they go with the series. Introducing Lucifer as the main villain is going to be amazing. Look what it did for CW’s Supernatural. You ask fans of that show what the best season is and most will say season 5, the season with Lucifer as the ‘big bad.’
Dominion deserves a season 3.

The Original movie was great and I think that the T.V. series is also great, I just started watching and binged watched the 2 seasons in a week. I finished watching the second season in time to catch the season finale and can’t wait to see season 3. my mind is racing with different scenarios and possibilities. I hope that SYFY continues the show!
i am not going to order season 2 till i hear of dominion renew. IT BS to sell season 2 with out knowing if their is going to be a season 3., syfy dont pull what you did with the first season,. they waited 3 months to tell us about season 2. season 2 is $4o i only watch 2 shows from syfy. dominion & z nation & z nation is starting to go south,. the show is all about chasing murphy. dominion is your better show. so please syfy renew and show some loyalties to the fans of dominion.??… Read more »
#Dominion is, by far, the most creative series to come from the Syfy Network! The writing is phenomenal, the cast is exceptional and the crew are amazingly creative – from the scripts, the scenery & locations chosen for each of the episodes to the casting & wardrobe departments… they are all, simply, magnificent! Dominion is the one of the only shows I watch weekly and also DVR so I can watch again.
Season 1 was so short with only 8 episodes, but Season 2 answered some questions leaving us with many more. I need to know if Uriel is really dead, where is Raphael, what is Lucifer up to, why Noma betrayed Michael, etc!

It is a good series…When you can’t wait from week to week to see what each one will bring thats a good series and there is a lot of devotees who would luv to see a third season and have a lot of the questions for the second season answered. Its very well and creatively done…The actors are great…Please Renew season 3-

I love the show ,Dominion!! Sadest thing is to kill a GREAT show when so many questions are left unanswered. I have watch SYFY since the START .I’ve seen it go threw so many BAD changes. Not having this show continue a third season would seal the grave on my watching SYFY!! 1 of the best shows in a very long time . Reguardless of the whatevers, Dominion has been a wounderful show, looking forward to watching the 3rd season.
It sucks! Confusing. Bad acting (other that David).
I really hope they do another season. This is a series my whole family watches. It brings up some very good conversations with my teens about ethics, loyalties and a lot of what ifs. I like how it makes you think without you even realizing it.
