Dominion aired its season two finale on Syfy on Thursday night, and now fans want to know if the series will return for a third season. Is there a chance that Dominion will be cancelled?
There is no word from SyFy yet on the future of the series, but the man behind the series, Vaun Wilmott, is hopeful about the chances the show has for season three renewal.
In an interview with TV Line, Wilmott spoke about the series’ chances.
“Right now, we’re waiting to hear… I know they are very happy with the show creatively, they have really supported me and the show. The numbers will come in, and we’ll hear. As of now, I don’t really have an inkling. I’m hopeful.”
The season two finale had some big moments, and it left a lot of things up in the air. Wilmott told TV Insider that the finale was meant to be a set up for season three.
What will fans see in Dominion season three if it happens? A “wild ride” is planned, according to Wilmott. The Chosen One and Lucifer will go to war.

OMG, Do not cancel the show. Dominion has so much promise… if anything get new writers. I really enjoyed this show. you need to bring in all four arch angels back into the show. Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel. make them stronger… arch Angels are not weak and they possess powers of telepathy, speed, strength, sight, loud voice that, ability to handle fire and cold, breath under water, breath in space, speak heavenly languages, communicate to God…. Why and how could you cancel Dominion ? There was nothing like it on TV. You decide to cancel, right when everything is about to cga please, can you reconsider and give us just one more season.

SyFy must renew Dominion. You can’t leave the fans (from all over the globe) just hanging not knowing what the ending is. Plus now with the introduction of Lucifer, he was the missing Archangel in this war, which you really couldn’t have without him. Michael and Gabriel are finally working together and must in order to help Alex defeat a new enemy in The Son of Morning and his followers. Vaun, his team, the absolutely fantastic cast and crew must be permitted to tell the story to the end.
I was an occasional watcher of Dominion during season one. My best friend, who is an avid viewer, told me that I need to give it another chance this summer. I did and now I am hooked. The show got progressively better and the set up for season three that looks AMAZING! i have already order season 2 on dvd i have season 1 watched it 20 times i watch season 2 on demand 30 times please i really like to see season 3 dominion is the only show i watch on thursday night i stay up and watch it and i get up at 4:30 in the morning to go to work the next day if i miss it i go on demand and watch it i love this show .

I have no idea why SyFy are not announcing something for Dominion but fans are getting restless. They can’t end it like that, we deserve a season 3 to explore the story. Lucifer rises and they pull the plug? Nah, come on SyFy, do the right thing by the audience here, renew Dominion 🙂
