Here is the Disney Channel description of the Elena of Avalor series premiere episode, “First Day of Rule,” debuting Friday, July 22, 2016 at 7:00pm ET/PT only on Disney Channel.

“First Day of Rule” – Elena officially becomes crown princess and rescues her sister, Isabel, from Noblins, elf-like shapeshifting creatures based on a Chilean peuchen myth.

Constance Marie, Lucas Grabeel (both from Freeform’s “Switched at Birth”) and Rich Sommer (“Mad Men”) guest star as Doña Paloma, Jiku, and Captain Turner, respectively.
