ABC is still trying to fill that Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot. Many ABC shows have been given that timeslot and they’ve all been cancelled — Killer Women, Body of Proof and Lucky 7, to name just a few. So, how’s the new Forever TV show doing? Will it break the trend or be cancelled as well?
On the Forever TV show, New York City’s star medical examiner is Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd). He can ascertain things that most can not because of his vast experience — he’s been alive for 200 years but can’t figure out how or why. The rest of the cast includes Alana de la Garza, Lorraine Toussaint, Donnie Keshawarz, Joel David Moore, and Judd Hirsch.
The series got off to an okay start, following the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars on a Monday night. It attracted a 1.7 rating with 8.59 million viewers. The following night, in its permanent timeslot, the demo rose slightly but viewership dropped.

In week two, the ratings tumbled to a 1.4 in the demo with 5.69 million. In week three, they fell even lower and last week’s installment hit new lows with a 1.1 demo rating and 4.81 million viewers.
Just four weeks into the season and this show is already in serious trouble. ABC needs a successful show to fill the Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot and it’s clear that Forever isn’t the answer to their prayers. It’s unlikely that they’ll order any installments beyond their initial 13 episode order.
Will all of the episodes air? I suspect that ABC will release the six remaining episodes — probably before the holidays. The network may find other programming to air in the Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot during at least some of November sweeps however.
Either way, unless there’s a miraculous turnaround in the ratings, Forever is as good as cancelled. It’s yet another TV show about an immortal that will see its life cut short.

I can’t say much more about this show, but I look forward to every episode.
really enjoyed this series, easy watching, slow at first but as the chemistry grew between the two main characters henry and Jo and the background flash’s gave henry some depth I looked forward to the next episode each week, maybe vamp up the darker side but follow the same romantic path and I feel this could be a winner.

it seems that all the good shows are being cancelled. i like the show. i think it is as good as agents of shield, which i like very much.i would love to see it rescheduled or at least run to a satisfactory ending.better still renewed. we older people need escapism also.
What is wrong with you folks? I look forward to seeing it each week, one of my favorite show. It has such a wonderful cast, why in the world would you cancel it?
This is another good show that is going to be cancelled. Who makes these stupid decisions? I am so tired of most of the crap on regular television, that I end up watching BBC productions on Netflix.

I absolutely love this show it’s a firm favourite of ours to watch. Want to see how he reveals his gift to Jo and see what happens between the two.

I love the show, but it never matters. They always cancel or ruin the good shows. Not surprised at all.
I love this show. Please renew it. CBS cancelled unforgettable then it came back the next summer, did 2nd and 3rd season and cancelled it again now A & E picked it up. Keep this show.
I think the show is great. The chemistry between the actors is excellent. The stories are very detailed and keep your attention to what the answer will be.

I want it renewed. The show has such a great cast. The premise could work. Whoever writes the dialogue gets it right. The stories could use some work, so hire a better mystery writer and keep it on the air. Henry, Abe, and Jo are wonderful, so much could be done with these actors. ABC doesn’t have many winners, give this one a chance to mature.
