As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

My husband and I just finished watching it on hulu. We loved it. I really hope someone else picks this up. The good shows keep getting cancelled. I don’t here about it till the season was over and started watching it right after. Seems like that happen with a lot of people. Looks like it has a fan club now. Bring it back
gang related very good show heard about it from brothers never saw previews on tv my girlfriend and i watched first season on line in one day. Hope season 2 airs
Please have another network pick it up… Netflix??
Bring the show back for another season!!! It was great and it has a ton of potential. More advertising would be helpful for those of us that usually watch cable TV! Give it another season and grow the audience. It is great!!
If fox does not have the common sense to put this show back on for a second season. I think it should be picked up by hulu or Netflix. I love the grit of this show, I can only imagine the boundaries that could be pushed on the other services. Fox loss would be Netflix or hulu gain.
I enjoyed Gang Related. I want it back on TV.

My wife and I really enjoyed this show and hope somehow, someway, it comes back, even on another network. At the very least, we hope to get it on DVD.
Fox are truly stupid for cancelling this, watched the entire first season in one day…
1. They left EVERYBODY who watched wondering what happened after Lopez walked out the prison leaving Acosta to be executed.
2. This series had so many epic moments I lost count, I was literally so into this series and the characters.
3. The story was literally so good I don’t understand what Fox are thinking they clearly have no idea what they are doing.
4. I officially hate Fox TV for this.
Even Stevie Wonder could see that this show had cancelled written all over it. The directing and writing were just bad, and I mean bad. This show did not bring anything new to the table. It seemed to me that the creators were trying to create a The Departed/Shield rip off. This show was not original or even entertaining. Staring at a blank wall is more entertaining than this sorry excuse for a show. Good riddance!
This is by far one of the best series i have watched since Sons of Anarchy, please do a second season! Its extremely entertaining you have good characters and a good plot running, i am sad to here that fox has cancelled the show!!!!!!!!!!!
The show was awesome and I was turned to it after hearing from a couple of friends of how good it was. A second season would be good as a Netflix series. I would get a Netflix membership just for this show as I currently use XBMC.
