As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I would gladly watch this show to which ever network carried it. Loved it and sad about no season 2!!
It takes a lot for me to get hooked on a series. Gang Related made it impossible to walk away! The constant twists needed you to pay attention and was definitely a must watch!

This is such a great show with great actors. Please bring it back for season 2. Fox your team that chose the season and programming time should be cancelled for not doing the research of when this show should air. This show definitely needs to be given another opportunity .
Not surprised because Fox consistently books garbage shows, and its indicative of the ******* Murdoch, and all those Corrupt shitheads that work with him, like the ultrareligeous, neocon, retards that litter the moral landscape with the pinnacle of hypocrisy like Hannity, and Oreilly, which are contributing to the decay of Americas intillectual substance. ..I will continue to boycott viewing this sesspool of a Network, as Gang Related was all they had to offer that was mentally challenging. ..signed hugely disappointed but not surprised by the champions of mediocrity….so sad…too many idiots control society…so sad
I am in on any petition to bring this show back on any station. This is the best show on TV since 24 and breaking bad, I would love to see them change their minds. I can’t believe all the junk shows that fill our airways and then something great comes along and they cancell it. Go figure. My wife and I are extremely upset along with all our friends an Co workers. They should keep the show and dump all the decision makers that set the tv line up…..they suck.

I couldn’t agree MORE! Gang Related was one of the ONLY reasons I even bothered with FOX. I Agree about the petition, and since FOX is so STUPID when it comes to decision making, I’d prefer to see this show on ANOTHER NETWORK. Because it’s obvious that FOX knows NOTHING ABOUT GOOD TELEVISION

Please bring that show back , give it a chance, put it on after a popular show, I was just getting into it and found out about the show through a friend. I think FOX took it off to soon, it’s was the summer time people are out and about , start it in the fall or winter and I bet the show will find an audience. those of us who followed it all summer need to write the producers at FOX and plee for a second chance!

What would you think of putting a show like that on in the summer time. There is less viewing of all showes. This show should be renewed as it was the BEST show ever. I would have continued to watch and I had more people interested and could not wait for the second season. SHAME on FOX
