As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I loved this show, in fact one of the best shows on tv. Why do all the shows I like get cancelled. Such a shame. It was on the edge of your seat action.

This show was one of the best shows of the summer. Fox choose the wrong time to premiere such a great police show. This should have been a fall tv premiere. Now u cancelled it? Fox is canceling the wrong shoes. Very Disappointed
Gang related was most likely canceled due to the fact that it praises drug gangs too much,, and also uncovers the world of bad cops!!!!,.. This T.V series is so real and to the point..
Gang Related was a great show! Why was it cancelled??? Please bring it back, so many other shows that should be cancelled, this one deserves a second chance!!!
They didn’t advertise the show enough so I don’t think that many people really knew about it. It gave the youth a good look at how that lifestyle can and will play out.

Gang related is such a good show it needs to come back for a season 2!!!! If it doesn’t come back on fox hopefully Netflix will consider it.,,, need to know what’s going to happen next

What! Did they consider the ratings for people who watched it on sites like hulu? Because I know it was a popular show on hulu and there is no way it wasn’t popular.
