Gilmore Girls returned for a new set of episodes back in November. With the end of the revival introducing the fact that Rory will give birth to a new addition to the Gilmore clan, fans have been wondering if another season of the revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, is possible.
Alexis Bledel spoke about the possibility of another Gilmore Girls season on Netflix while promoting her new Hulu series, The Handmaid’s Tale. She said the following, according to Entertainment Weekly:
“It came together so naturally, in a way. We had the fan reunion in Austin [at ATX], we picked up momentum from there and it came together so quickly. It really seemed like the right thing. I think most, all of us are just wanting to tell a good story. I think that came together in A Year in the Life. The only thing I can say about a future installment of the show would be that it would be about the story and certainly the timing. We want to tell a great story.”
Bledel also spoke about the fan reaction to the revival, and she was pleasantly surprised by it. She said:
“I was certainly surprised that people still love it so much. It was wonderful and interesting to see this incarnation be received by the same set of fans and new fans that we’ve found on Netflix. It’s certainly been interesting and surprising.”

Would love to see a mini series of continuation of Gilmore girls and what happens next – would love to see Loralie a grandmother and her mom a great grandmother,! Could be a great mini series!!

My mom and I have watched Gilmore Girls since the very first episode and really really loved when it came back. We would be so sad if it didn’t continue we want to know what’s going to happen next. PLEASE BRING GILMORE GIRLS BACK

Definitely need another show. Personally I’d love to just see it come back as a regular series again continuing on. But if that’s not possible, another mini series would be wonderful.
I would love to see another season! I want to see what happens with the baby and who’s it is!! I also would love Rory to have a great career since she put so much effort into her Career! Maybe she will get an amazing opportunity and she will have to decide what if she will keep the baby!!

Yes!!!! Never saw the show until January of this year. We binge watched it all the way through….with my kids. It’s our favorite show. Dying to see what happens next!
