HGTV Renews Mother/Daughter Home Reno Series ‘Good Bones’NEW YORK — HGTV has greenlighted a second season of its popular home renovation and flipping series, Good Bones. The series stars the dynamic mother/daughter duo Karen E Laine and Mina Starsiak as they buy homes in serious disrepair—sometimes gut them to the studs—and transform them into stunning remodels. Good Bones, which currently airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, has attracted more than 14 million viewers since its premiere on Tuesday, March 22. The 12-episode second season is scheduled to premiere in January 2017.
“Family units tackling major home renovations are hugely popular on our air, but what’s compelling about Good Bones is that we see an incredibly talented mother and daughter, who also happen to light up the screen, work together to complete renovations that improve an entire community,” said Allison Page, general manager, HGTV and DIY Network.

Really enjoyed the series Good Bones. Hope to tune in. January 2017.
I love Good Bones, it’s almost local and they care about their neighborhood and I think they do what they do b/c they really love it and it’s not about the money.. 4stars!! Oh, Mina is the prettiest woman I’ve ever seen!!!.
Yay!!!!. I LOVE this show. They know what they’re doing, are very informative, are serious about doing a good job and at the same time so funny and fun to watch together. What an amazing, delightful mother/daughter relationship. I only found out there’s going to be another season when I came on the internet trying to find out why it had apparently been cancelled. Thank you HGTV.
Has the show been renewed for season 3
You ladies are awesome at what you do… But I watched as the house you did on woodlawn was done… And you both wasnt hardly ever there.. And then you put up sideing just to pull it down for the show.. I didnt understand that???? It took you all about 3-4 months to complete leaving large nails laying around everywhere. There are lots of kids in this neighborhood and even though you are making it look better.. Please do whats right… Our neighborhood is our childrens future.. One House At A Time.. Could mean a child getting hurt from the… Read more »
watching them work on the house next too my daughter this summer has been great the way there whole team work together to make indianapolis better 1 house at a time is just awesome the neighborhood is coming back to life thank you karen and mina
OMG! This show is NOT GOOD! At least the gOD AWFUL yellow and orange two toned house they did, was atrocious! The few things that I did like were the glass ball chandelier, in the living room, the pocket doors and the beautiful blue tile in the kitchen….THAT’S IT! Whomever buys this house will definitely be repainting the exterior to a more subtle color…oh and their idea for staging the home was hideous. What a waste of air time.
This is my favorite renovation show. I especially like that Karen and Mina renovate small houses that most would find hopeless. The improve the entire neighborhood with their work.
There’s something different & refreshing about this show. Maybe it’s just the positive attitudes & genuine friendliness these people convey. Their mother daughter relationship is something many of us women can relate to.
Absolutely love these girls and their series. They have a great eye for design and are not afraid to get a little dirty in the process. So glad to hear there will be a second season.
Karen and Mina, Chip and Joanna are the two most down to earth couples on HGTV. We are all so blessed to be able to watch shows with out foul language, decent clothing, and pure love shown for each other.
I love Mina and Karen! They are working hard to bring back their Midwestern inner city, Indianapolis and as they say, “One house at a time”! Thank you for bringing this refreshing mother and daughter into my home! HGTV is my favorite channel.
What is wrong with Mom’s eyes? She always squints like she needs glasses.
I don’t think she has anything wrong with her eyes, it’s just she is smiling all the time.
Mom and daughter are REAL! It’s entertaining based on their natural personalities and genuine relationship. Their talent is stunning.
