Case closed. Court is dismissed. Harry’s Law has been cancelled by NBC after two seasons and 34 episodes.
Harry’s Law revolves around Harriet Korn, a no-nonsense attorney who will take on just about any case as long as she believes in a person’s innocence. Over the course of two seasons, the cast has also included Nate Corddry, Karen Olivo, Justine Lupe, Mark Valley, Christopher McDonald, Brittany Snow, and Aml Ameen.
The show debuted in January 2011 to a 2.2 in the 18-49 demographic with 11.07 million viewers. It was a mediocre demo rating but total viewership was impressive and when you’re NBC, that’s better than nothing. The ratings dwindled downward pretty quickly and the show ended the season with a 1.4 demo rating and 7.75 million.
The series was on the bubble for cancellation but NBC brought it back for a second season. For season two, the show underwent some cast changes, no doubt in hopes of improving the ratings. It didn’t work.

This season, Harry’s Law has averaged a meager 1.1 rating in the desirable demographic and 7.89 million viewers.
On our NBC Ratings Report Card, which measures the relative success of shows on the network, Harry’s Law has a “D+” grade and is one of the lowest-rated shows on NBC.
While it’s the second most-watched show on the network, advertisers want to advertise on shows that attract a younger demographic and so the networks must cater to them.
Sadly, the peacock network has cancelled Harry’s Law this time around and the series finale will air next Sunday night. Hopefully the show won’t end on a cliffhanger, making it all the harder for fans to say goodbye.
What do you think? Are you sorry to see Harry’s Law go? Which season did you like better? What would you have liked to see happen in season three?

NBC is making me ill! You are cancelling “Harry’s Law” and “The Firm” — do you have something against lawyers? Take some of the reality shows off so all of your viewers don’t get soft in the head.
I too loved this show, and mostly for the reasons stated above. I am at the end of the 18-49 demon-graphics, but a lot of people in my age group liked this show. As we get older, we tend to be more loyal than the younger crowd, as shown by Harrys Law being the second most watched show on the network, even if it didn’t do well with younger people. Far as i’m concerned, there is nothing left on this network that I care to watch, and there is a reason it’s #4. I am hoping that it will be… Read more »
I loved Harry’s Law! Every time I find a good show they take it off to promote a mindless one. I may just boycott NBC from now on–
It’s a shame that tv shows that have something intelligent to say about the world around us and characters that are well written, smart, funny, and likeable can’t find a home or the “correct” demographic to make them successful. I have enjoyed Harry and the gang from the beginning and would love to see Harry take this case before the “high court” at NBC and argue for her loyal viewers…….and WIN!!! or find her crew a new home elsewhere that appreciates the baby boomers as fans!
I loved Harry’s Law. I’ve seen every episode. Please reconsider your decision and bring it back.
It was such a surprise that Harry’s Law was cancelled. I have faithfully watched the program and enjoyed all the various individuals in their roles. You just never knew until the last minute just how everything would come out, and what was so interesting is that sometimes the attorney’s lost their case. Hope NBC thinks it over and gets this program back on the air.
YES,KAY HAS A GREAT IDEA.
I RARELY WATCH NBC. DUE TO LIBERAL REPORTING.
THEY FINALLY GET A PROGRAM I ENJOY THEN CANCEL IT.
WAY TO GO DUMMIES.
It was a REALLY good show AND it wasn’t a REALITY show. The court cases were based on many current issues. NBC please rethink it. Young demographics aren’t THE only valid demographics! Use “40 somethings” like to sit down and see “smarter” TV. But please PICK A NIGHT and stick with it. We went a lot of weeks between shows and then couldn’t find them on the internet to watch what we’d missed. If NBC doesn’t want it, I agree another “post-er”, step in USA! It would be worth it!
IF UNFORGETTABLE CAN BE MOVED TO ANOTHER CHANNEL WHY CAN’T HARRY’S LAW. USA SHOULD PICK IT UP
Yes I am sorry to see the show go. My husband and I loved the show and all it’s characters. So we are not the “younger demographic” the advertisers love. In case advertisers didn’t know, the baby boomers out spend the “younger demographic” heads down. If there was a third season, I would like them to go back to their small office like was in season one. Sometimes bigger is not better. But we still loved the story lines in season two. If at all possible, please bring this show back.
I agree with all of the above. My husband and I are both fed up with NBC!!
BRING HARRY BACK!!! Enough with the reality shows already. And another thing – stop switching the shows around all the time.
This is my favorite show. I’m so angry that you’re removing this. One of the most real and gut level dialogs of any other show on the air. You NBC are very disappointing.
NBC is insane for cancelling Harry’s Law. Everytime they have a winner, they mess it up.
That is why they are at the bottom of the poll. They need to take a clue. They will never learn.
